church trip to Greece: Fall 2027

Greece is not only the birthplace of Western Civilization, it is also the first place in Europe the Apostle Paul preached the gospel and established churches — Philippi, Thessalonica, Berea, Athens, and Corinth.  Pastor Joe is exploring the possibility of organizing and leading a 10-day trip to Greece in September-October 2027. The total cost of the trip (including airfare, ground transportation, accommodations, and most meals) is estimated at around $4000 per person in a double-occupancy room. If you are interested in going (that is, if you would be more likely than not to go), let us know by clicking the button below and completing the form.  This is not a commitment!  At this point, we are simply gauging whether or not there is enough interest to move forward.  If there is enough interest, an information session will be scheduled for sometime in October or early November.

september 27-october 6

Day 1: Depart USA for Thessaloniki, Greece
Day 2: arrive in Thessaloniki; settle in.  Overnight in Thessaloniki.
Day 3: Day trip to Philippi and return for overnight in Thessaloniki
Day 4: Vergina (Tomb of Philipp) and Berea.  Travel to Kalambaka and overnight.
Day 5: Meteora and travel to Athens via Thermopylae.  Overnight in Athens.
Day 6: Day trip to Corinth and return to Athens.
Day 7: Worship at First Greek Evangelical Church in Athens.
Day 8: Acropolis and Acropolis Museum in Athens.
Day 9: Visit ministries and/or church plants in Athens.
Day 10: Depart Athens for return flight to USA
